Troy Dunn, creator and host of the popular WEtv program The Locator, helped Billy search for his adopted sister after hearing that Billy had been looking for his missing puppet sister for over two decades. “Half of the world is looking for the other half, you know,” Dunn said. “We’re just so happy Billy found his sister. They have so many heartwarming stories to share about being an effective mouthpiece for other people’s ideas and agendas.”
“My mom had too many Baby Baloneys, so she put all of us up for adoption. She was a single mom and totally overwhelmed with so many of us – she had to deal with me, Toni, Brent, Sheldon, David, Lauren, Linda, Stephen, Betty, Keith. Goodness me, I can’t even remember all of them. Toni was always my favorite so she’s the one I wanted to find,” Billy said in a brief phone interview.
“I was surprised to hear that she works for a newspaper which sounds like serious stuff for a puppet but she was quick to point out that working for the newspaper business isn’t much different from working in comedy. The Crapola-Journal is considered a big-fat joke so that must mean it’s a really hilarious place to work, right?”
Billy finally added, “I’m just so thrilled that I get to see my sister soon. This is like a dream come true. I’ll get to tell her how Pee Wee puts words in my mouth and she’ll get to tell me how Jefferson County Public Schools does the same with her – with the C-J’s blessing, of course! We’ll have so much to talk about! I can’t wait to see her!”
