Just click on the pic below read the grisly details at wdrb.com. The stories at WDRB don’t get archived/go dead – unlike the stories at the Crapola-Journal that get killed off after, what?, seven days?
So, add five more Jefferson County schools to the list of persistently low-achieving schools: Thomas Jefferson Middle (not to be confused with Jefferson Traditional Middle Schools in the Highlands), Myers Middle, Stuart Middle, Westport Middle and Olmstead North Academy.
This is just so depressing! When will somebody call out the teachers union for deliberately creating a version of academic apartheid that segregates the most experienced teachers from the lowest-performing students? Somebody? Anybody?
At least we have Chris Fell…. and more about him soon.
Unbelievable that the state sits and just lets this go on. Of course when the Commissioner is being flown around the world from a company that wins overpaid contracts guess that may be a little too much to ask for. Our education statewide and local is something to be ashamed of, yet the people running it must be laughing all the way to the bank with all the free trips and such. I love how they just paid what 58 mil for a company to go in and audit our schools. If you pay me 58 mil do you really expect me to be truthful and show just how bad your school system is? That has to be the dumbest contract ever awarded.
If they could really find out how many kids can or cannot read and do math on grade level the number of failing schools would go up even more!
Hey Voodoo!! Did you know that the district had this site blocked for a short time? You must be hitting them in a soft spot!
And on and on it goes, where it stops? Hopefully, Kentucky Supreme Court will drop the wrecking ball on the heads of the BOE in near future. A good place to start!
